Kendal Magistrates Court was a former courthouse, located within the Flood Zone, acquired unconditionally from Homes England in December 2018, through a Joint Venture with Wren Properties Ltd.

Hampstead value add included negotiation with Environment Agency and flood plain remodelling works to provide acceptable form of redevelopment, part demolition and site clearance works, planning consent for 64 retirement apartments. The site was sold to Churchill Retirement Living Ltd in June 2021.
